Thank you once again for the opportunity. 1. The quality of talks at Future of PMPH 2026 This was my first time attending the 6th International Conference on Future of Preventive Medicine and Public Health (Future of PMPH 2026), and I greatly enjoyed the experience. The conference was well organized and intellectually enriching. Coming from the continent of Africa and working within the field of Social Work, I found the interdisciplinary nature of the sessions valuable. Areas of medicine discussed, such as age reversing and longevity related interventions, reflected contemporary discourses that are more prominently emerging within the Global North. Exposure to these topics broadened my understanding of current debates in preventive medicine. I also noted that the area of Indigenous African knowledge systems in Social Work Practice that I presented represents a contemporary discourse within the Global South. Although this area was unfamiliar to many participants, the participants demonstrated genuine interest and curiosity, which further highlighted important contrasts and reinforced the value of cross continental and intercultural knowledge exchange. The speakers were welcoming and enthusiastic, and as a result, the presentation on Indigenous African knowledge systems provoked meaningful and engaging discussions. Overall, cross continental and interdisciplinary knowledge exchange was my key takeaway from the conference. 2. How far could it contribute to your professional development?? Engaging with scholars and practitioners from medicine, public health, and the social sciences deepened my appreciation of interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly in engaging with the complexities of psychosocial and health related knowledge systems. This experience reaffirmed the value of integrating diverse knowledge systems and professional perspectives to promote a holistic, context-based and community centered preventive interventions. 3.
